Die Gäste kamen aus Enger - Mitte und den verschiedenen Ortsteilen aus Enger, Spenge, Bünde, Hiddenhausen und sogar aus Münster! Gleich herrschte beim Singen eine fröhliche Stimmung und der Satz: "Musik ist Balsam für die Seele" fand sogleich seine Berechtigung.

In diesem Jahr fand das Offenen Singen für Jung und Alt zum 9 Mal im Rahmen des Mathildenplatzkonzertes statt. Als Berühmter Überraschungsgast waren Alexander Hochhalter mit Akkordeon und Garry Nebandian , 1 Geiger der Staatsoper Eriwan, zu Gast und Beide gaben gemeinsam 3 Stücke zum Besten.

Schnell füllte sich der Mathildenplatz und wer dachte um 10.30 Uhr noch einen Sitzplatz zu ergattern hatte keine Chance mehr. Einige Gäste kannten aus den Vorjahren noch die Problematik und brachten gleich ihre Klappstühle mit!!!

Auch unsere Gäste aus Hiddenhausen waren wieder mit einem Bulli angereist und haben bisher an allen 9 Mathildenplatzkonzerten mit dem Generationentreff Enger teilgenommen.

So fand jeder letztlich noch sein Plätzchen................
